About the role
As an Applied AI Engineer, you design and ship the agent and AI systems our clients use every day in production, not prototypes that stay stuck in a demo.
What you'll do
- Design and build LLM-powered agent pipelines and RAG systems for client production environments
- Integrate AI systems with tools like HubSpot, n8n, and each client's internal infrastructure
- Own the full lifecycle from prototype to production: versioning, error handling, and monitoring
- Work directly with clients to understand the real operational problem before proposing a technical solution
What we're looking for
- Experience building and deploying LLM-based systems in production, not just prototypes
- Strong Python skills and comfort working with APIs and automation tools
- Ability to reason about tradeoffs between different AI architectures and pick the right one for the problem
- Clear communication, especially when explaining technical decisions to non-technical stakeholders
Nice to have
- Experience with retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) and hybrid search
- Familiarity with n8n, HubSpot, or similar automation/CRM platforms
- Experience working directly with B2B clients or in a consulting environment

Remote from anywhere in the world. We hire distributed talent globally and work asynchronously across time zones.
